Check engine Light Error 01
Help!!!
I get a check engine light when I shift into the 2nd gear. And when I pull the code its a 01 error. This means the trailing coil spark is cut. I replace both leading and trailing coils. Same error. Does the ECU go bad in these cars? That is the next item to replace. The question is how often does the ECU go bad in Mazda RX-7. My is a 1991 5-speed. I am hoping that someone out there will confirn that the ECU will fix this problem....
