Rotary records?

Can somebody post record of rotary ranging from stock irs to full chassis? Thinking about going after the mazfix series 6 pro stock record but it look like they did it with a 20b?

Pac mx6 fastest rotary 6.55

Fastest 13b is 6.8x

List them all stock through full chassis and fastest w/o wheelie bar.

fc custom irs enzo 13bt 8.60@156 8.8 mustang, billet axles
fd custom irs mazfix 20bt 8.77@159 skyline gtr irs, stock axles

fc oem irs timemachines 8.748@156 stock centre, billet axles
fd oem irs mazfix 9.1@ ? stock centre, stock axles

PLease correct me anyone on my quotes , i have separated the two rear ends into diff centres , as a stock fc rear centre to me is different to a 9 inch irs or a 8.8 inch irs or a skyline irs , as the mazda unit is got to be made of gelatine

outright 13b + outright 3/4 chassis 13b/20b (not aust style 3/4 chassis)
La Otra "Loquito Killer" 6.84 201 Mph 13B+ Liberty

outright 20b 3/4 chassis
Carlos Racing 6.87@204 20BT+Liberty

outright 20b full chassis

You know the spec on the mazfix pro stock series 6? This is what we are aiming for.

Excuse my ignorance but what the heck is a Mazfix pro stock series 6? Never heard of it. The only real records I'm aware of are for the following-

All motor- in all different motor and chassis configurations
Nitrous- in all different motor and chassis configurations
Turbo- " "

Aside from that, people are getting too crazy with all the different types of records. Shoot I can say that I have the record for All motor 12abp in a 1973 foor door sedan with green paint.

beefcake 06-12-11 05:56 PM

yeh i dunno why mazfix called it Pro Stock , it was just a street car with a cage and 28x9 tyres with irs .
ill ask the owner what the details of it were for ya mate .

Pro Stock is another term used for "All motor", at least here in the states.

beefcake 06-13-11 05:22 AM

same here down unda mate, unless it was a Japanese term that mazfix used, as the previous record was held by the blitz unit , so i suppose they could have just taken it from them ?

I must say though , i think i hold the record for fastest zip ties on front bumper haha

jamespond24 06-23-11 09:11 PM

Look like our eyes are set for 7.77 stock chassis record.

What is you're definition of stock chassis? Correct if im wrong BUT, From the video, That looks to have a 12 inch wide tire tucked in?
I remember when "stock chassis" meant; untouched inner tubs/fenders with factory rear-end pickup points.

jamespond24 06-24-11 05:29 PM

I too wonder about stock chassis, sr motorsport claim their stock chassis fd but how can u fit 16x33 tire and still keep it stock? On our fd 28x10.5 is pushing it.

In PR a stock chassis race cars does have tubs, lots of arguments over that one

rotorholic 06-26-11 08:32 AM

Then PR stock chassis records don't count.

beefcake 06-26-11 08:52 AM

.
can you bolt up any factory mazda part to the chassis , yes /stock ........ no /modified ...... the end , Same goes with three-quarter chassis crap, firewall back is three-quarter, not the shit that has full bars under the floor front to rear and strut towers forward cut out with tube chassis replacement, and a token piece of original firewall left in place ..... not three-quarter .

Tubbing your rear end through removing rear chassis rails and slapping in 4 link or ladder bar is a back half mod, BUT if a ladder bar/4 link is fitted without modding the rear floor pan and original chassis then its still stock chassis , tubbing within the confines of the original inner chassis and outer guards and still retaining hte original suspension pick up points is still stock chassis .
Anything else is just being delusional

rotorholic 06-26-11 10:15 AM

After market rear-ends within the factory wheel tubs are considered stock chassis imo. Once you get to second or third generations cars it opens a whole can of worms trying to put them in irs categories.

As stated before, lots of arguments

With that said, good luck trying to keep up with OEM tubs.

Will try to get the motor started tomorrow and dyno on Friday. After that I can show pics of the motor setup.
