Well the only ones saying that were the ones that couldn't make it work, but your tuner proved them wrong
True or not true?? definately true |

another friend of mine, Jose Leduc has made tons of power on low boost with his peripheral port turbo set up, in comparison to streetport engines.. most of the power is achieved at high rpms... over 10K rpms... |

Jim mederer is a mechanical engineer and joe perez is not to far behind. I agree both of them knew and know when rpms go up, intake and exhaust overlap is no longer a major issue. Joe ran 8.1 in 1998 at 16psi of boost!!! when joe told me this back in 98, I was like" Joe are you serious?" joe made over 700hp at 16psi in an engine dyno.. very impressive numbers for such low boost..

Damn that's Supra territory.
|
But dont they loose boost.. with the overlap..? Maybe its harder to make 30+ psi?
I wouldnt know just thinking. |
Any word on the test run?

Does anyone have more details on the engine, turbo, ECU and boost to achieve such an amazing figure?
Who is the tuner? I read somewhere it was using the Racing Beat 13BPP turbo rotor housings.... |

nope they are not using RACING BEAT Periferal port housings they are "home made"
the 1347 HP was done with the old setup,BIG STUFF EMS with OSO PERFORMANCE in the keyboard, with this combo and running with around 900hp the ran 7.3,they tried to put all the power to floor several times but it never worked out(chassis problems,to much power) now with the new tuner, the new SAKURA EMS and some chassis adjustment they expect to get it done baby. |
Wow, thanks for the information...
|
any updates on this one guys???
