Need some input on suspension settings..

Hey guys. Its been almost a year since I've raced and now I'll be make alot more power. I have HKS coilovers. If anybody has any suggestions on how to setup up the front and rear it would be appreciated. My old 7, I just put the rear on full soft and front on full hard and that was all I needed to cut 1.50's all day, but Im making almost twice the power I did back then. Thanks for the help.

I know with the drag coilovers on mine when i set it full soft in the backend the first time the started actually bouncing the backend and just blazed the tires.. its was way to soft i think i ended up like 4 clicks from full soft in the rear. But i never got to finish really getting after the suspension bc of .....blown motors..good luck

Same place I bought it from. (PPG distrib) Andrewtech Automotive in Gaithursburg, Md. They are doing the gear set install. Ray will actually install it in the car.

Same questions I've been asking. I pretty much got full soft on front and medium soft on the rear.

It's going to take some trial and error.

How about those new HP numners ? :)

That translates into a hell of a lot of HP for a “street” car. And here people looked @ you like the cool kid with only 643 LOL. And here I was still feeling pathetic with sub 500HP, now it’s going to be almost everyone envying the 700+ club. I love it Ernie, I just wish I had your bank roll.
By the sounds of it she’s going to make it to the track this year?

I cant wait to see the #’s you post.

Thanks bro. Dont know if its as much as my bank roll or my stupidity! lol...I'll have the car next Friday so I'll probably go to the track then.

Isn't it getting cold there? Are you going to try and make some license runs this year or just play with the car ?

I believe one track here, capitol raceway stays open until the first snow, or at least that how it use to be....MIR(maryland international raceway) is open at least till Novemeber for imports vs domestics. There are some others like mason dixon that is open in November as well.

Bacon 09-30-06 09:10 AM

Atco here in NJ runs till NOV 28th, latest ive gone was the 15th of NOV, by the end of the night air temps were 36Deg. way to cold LOL
