Do you really need an excuse to buy an old school rotary?:lol::lol:
Don't kid yourself thinking that this will be an easy project. You have alot of work and money that needs to go into this, especially with all the questions your asking.:lol: If you love projects and learning new skills and building, then this is a good pick up. If you don't have time and or skills, then this will end up sitting around in your back yard and up for sale a year from now. Just something to think about. It's rare to see builds like this ever get finished. It might be in your own interest to get something a little more complete. I know I sound like a drag, but I have been down this road before and just want you to realize what your getting into. Good luck, I hope you get it. |
hahaha.... you never know... I may have a FD up for sale before you know it,.....
But serious. I know this will be a long project and I cant say were this will lead me but for the price I cant pass it up. Go back and look at my interest on the drag section with old school. I have always had a soft spot for them. |
Post some pictures tommorow, ok...

 almost 2.5 years and not much has changed. BUT I am wanting to now start this build. I have never built a 1/2 chassis car nor any car from the ground up. My thoughts are to get it to a chassis shop and have them set it up. Thinking of doing a ladder bar set up instead and recage it.?
I looked at ordering a kit from www.autoweldchassis.com/kits.ivnu Would like to know what others have done on the front to get it low enough and not rub. |
Nice cant wait to see some pics of the build. Good luck
