rotormind 12-27-09 10:29 PM

nice ride, do u have video of the 1/4 mile run? and around how much hp does this car have?

dementegirl12a 12-27-09 10:46 PM

Thanks.... I have the video of 1/4 mile pass but unable to post its on a mini dvd that a buddy gave me b4 I left nj . I jus recently moved to florida couple months back. The car ran 9.40 in island dragway in nj. I once dynoed the car on a mustang dyno with no msd on c16 at 30 psi it did 616 to the wheels. Never dynoed after changes were made.

Is this car running the black weld magnums up front by any chance?

dementegirl12a 12-27-09 11:28 PM

Yea

Chaotic_FC 12-27-09 11:44 PM

thats really impressive considering that its a full street car.
my question, if you can answer it, is what it runs on pump and street tires. to me thats what really matters when you have a street car.

sen2two 12-28-09 01:41 AM

^ i know a who few people who drive to school and work with C16 and drag radials. lol... and my brothers friend daily drives his car with slicks every now and again. throwing money in the garbage...

I'll give you guys some history/bio behind the owner of this car. First I'll say, Brandi hope your mom and dad are doing well. Brandi (sister) and Eddie (owner of the car) are being quite humble. Eddie and Brandi were born into the world of import drag racing. and into the wonderful world of rotary engines. Eddie/Brandi's Father is very well respected in our neck of the woods. locals in the tri-state area, new york, new jersey and connecticut knew who was top dog in the mid 80's Listen folks Im talking about 1985 to 1987 Eddie's Father was running 11.45@115mph ALL MOTOR with his 1975 mazda rx3 with a stock chassis, traction bars,Rx4 gearbox and stock mazda rear on a 13B bridgeport using a holley 650cfm carburator. forgot to add 13 inch m/t 24x7 slicks. later they made the car half chassis and ran 11.2 then parked the car to go full chassis.

I remember, I was 14 years old back in 1985 when @ island dragway Eddie's father broke his factory driveshaft on one of his 11.4 all motor runs and my older brother Abel, loaned Eddie's Dad the driveshaft out of his daily driver Rx3, so Eddie's dad could continue to test and tune. This car sounded so wicked!! I mean that brap, brap, brap was wicked! Car use to rev strong and would always pull hard through the gears. those were some good memories. Eddie and his Dad played around with this rx7 with some nitrous on a bridgeport a few years ago. they got to run low 11's and it was a daily driver. Later Eddie went turbo and built this car totally from scratch on its current turbo set-up. Car is running super impressive and I am xtremely proud of Eddie.

How do I know this? simple, Eddie grew up around me and I treat him like family. So Eddie and this first gen rx7 are here to stay.. hope all is well down in florida Eddie.

sen2two 12-28-09 01:56 PM

Hey Eddie, god bless you,Brandi, and Brandon. Eddie keep us up to date on this site with the progress of your car.

Hey Brandi, bless you much, congrats on finishing school, and I wish you the best on your college journey. I don't want to talk about the old days and my rampages cause I'll cluter Eddie's thread with something like a book of drag racing history.

Tell your dad I said hello and I also got nothing but love for your mom. Hey Brandi you surprised me! I would never have figured you would turn out to be a hard core rotorhead. Behave and Tio Ito Loves you and your family much..
