whats a good engine setup? S4 13bT 14psi?

Well, I blew one of the rear seals. after talking to a friend about rebuilding with a large streetport running 14psi. im wondering whats needed to support this internally from what we came up with where thinking..

Mazdatrix full gasket kit
2 mm "RA" Apex Seals
solid corner seals
93 corner seal springs
new thrust bearings

To you guys that have been threw this and wanted to return with more potential power where the car is still street able but can hit the track for a few passes. Please post up what combination i could try to get her there. i would like to see mid/low 12's in a 1/4 mile pass on day.

other mods that i have done are in my signature.

Please make sure and research the RA seals. They are fairly controversial. I just put them in my engine and wont know how they worked out for a while.

ra's are fine for that hp level (draw your own conclusion as to whether r not you want to use them) i've got 12-15 motors withut a failure using those seals....as far as the whole thing goes, hell, a bone stock motor is fine for that hp level.

Question

well im going at this as it comes, every part of this engine is getting touched with some of this sand some of that. its in the shop now getting 4 more strengthening pins installed making 8 all together. e-shaft is getting work along with the bearing and other lubrication mods 85psi OPR.
after reading i changed thoughts on the RA seals and went with mazda factory 2mm seals, S6 bearing and gears will be used i went with the ITO aggressive street port and RB exhaust port, upping the fuel injectors with the 720 seconds along with a parallel fuel system and paxton FPR. going to save up and get a standalone setup in there.

am i on the rite track so far for a strong motor?

Welcome to the board.

Your post count is 1, so that implies that you haven't made a thread here yet. Try going to the New Member section and posting an intro in the Intro section, then post whatever tech questions you have in the Tech section. I'm sure there will be people very willing to answer whatever they can for you.

Thanks,
