upping comp ratio
 

Would there be any advantage to upping the comp ratio on a rotary or would it just increase blow-by?

Same advantages as with a piston engine. You can have your rotor face recess area welded in then re-machined for higher comp. A lot of N/A racers do this. BTW, not a good idea on boosted applications, as the later model 9.1 ratio is good enough.

I know Hayes Rotary used to offer this, Pineapple Racing might still do it as well. You best bet if your seriously planning on doing this is once again..... SEARCH....lol... sorry I couln't be more help.
