LOOKS GOOD! I usually go with a more squared off exhaust port, but that's just me:p:

hey man, did santa claus wipe his ass in your engine compartment when he crawled out of your chimney? what's up with all that soot? seriously? turbo go out or just another case of the exhaust gasket demons?

its from the waste gate open right there.

The pipe that is connected to the wastegate is way too small just around 1" I was over boosting like crazy.
getting 14psi on a 8psi spring.

I guess the guys at RP though, we got some extra pipe lets throw it on his waste gate and see what happens.

http://rx7.cyberosity.com/87GTR/pipe.jpg

so I took off the pipe and over boosting was fixed. I never got around to getting a bigger one made. so when then wastegate opens up it dumps that 1400 deg air right there.

a new pipe is being made and 2 gal of simple green are in route to the engine bay :D

What happened to the diffusers? Did you get new inserts? The porting looks really clean. Thanks.

Those have knock sensor holes in them, so they're T2 housings. Am I right? I've got a junked T2 housing without the knock sensor.

Nice job 87GTR!
But iwonder how many mm you have port it down (earlier opening) and up (later closening) becausse i am doing 2 rebuilds and streetporting of gen-3 engines. Best wishes from a really hot Stockholm!
