NRS Ceremic Seals?

Has anyone had experience with some ceremic seals from NRS Rotorsports in Canada?

I have not heard of them. Do they have a website? I tried the obvious www.nrsrotorsports.com and that is not a valid link.

Sven Nielsen is his name. He has a batch of 3mm ceramic seals. I have talked to Sven for a couple of times, I told him I would be intrested in a set of 2mm seals to try for my car. Currently he only has 3mm 2 piece seals and some solid 3mm ones. He emailed me some pics of the seals.

Killer Bee Rotaries has ceramic seals listed on their site for $20 per seal/spring set. Why so cheap, could it be a mistake?

http://members.aol.com/rkillerbee/mazdaprice.html
RRE1014 13B CERAMIC APEX SEALS/SPRINGS (PER SET) $19.50

Everywhere seems to sell them for around $1000-$1400 a set ($165-$233 each).

Something has to be wrong about that. I sent them an email to clarify what the part number consisted of.

So I am guessing no one knows much about Sven Nielsen's seals?

Darn, I hoped someone would.

I emailed Killer Bee and as I suspected it's a typo. A set of ceramic seals & springs for a 13B costs $1600 usd - ouch!

That's a good info package you sent me Sven, thanks!
To anyone reading this, also read the thread in this forum called "Ceramic Seal Supplier" if you haven't already.

I emailed them and they never replied back. I'm glad at least someone was able o get a response. You would think this is not the first time someone has inquired on that price and that they would spend the two minutes it takes to fix the typo.

I have them in both my 20b and 13bt.
Both are 3mm 2 piece. Haven't run the 20b yet, but the 13bt in my vert has done well so far. I have several thousand miles on it so far (takes about that long to break them in really) and 2 track days and I have 13-14 in/hg @ idle with a large street port with tons of overlap and 9.4:1 compression rotors.
I got a great deal on them btw
Under race conditions with 15 lbs. boost for 20 minutes, I blow-by about 3/4 a quart oil into the catch can. That was about the same as with the 2mm 3 piece seals not that the seals have that much (if any) affect regarding that.
Haven't done a comprerssion test since initial tuning several months ago (before they were broken in) but will be doing one again soon so I'll post some numbers then.

btw, Sven is a great guy to talk to....
