well boostn7 is the man like i said :D

Ernie & Boostn7 both had stock motors for these time as did Kevin Wyum. Wyum had full non-sequential & upgraded twins of some sort.
Vosko is right: Boostn7 is the man in street & now with 400 HP he will probably go to the top of the list. I think Wyum's mark has been there since 1995 or something. |

Ernie had a port job in his mod list well before he ran 11's or even before he ran low 12's. |
Ernie had so many motors its hard to keep track but somewhere on this forum he stated that his 11.7 was done on a "stock motor". I assume that means non-ported, no?
I suppose we could just ask him. In any event, Boostn7 is the clear winner for stock motor-stock turbos. |
just wait till boostn7 runs in this nice cold weather :)

OK guys my first time back to the strip ,1/8 mile(sucks), in a year and a half got new mods and ET streets my previous best was 8.5 this time was:

red7 - i think you would be in the 11's your 1/8 et and trap speed are both better than mine and i ran 12.3, look at my post about 2 above yours
matty- i don't really remeber what i did to my car since the last time i saw you but it was mostly improving driving like vosko said:D |

David- Long time no hear!
Yes, the calculators show 200-210hp at the flywheel. Forgot to mention that this is car is set up for autocross. |
I've been out of the loop for a while. Haven't really done anything to the car. Need to get back on it.

My 3rd run I lost to a Ford Lightning(1/4 et 14.26). Damn!!!!! I tried to launch at differant rpm's but could'nt stop all the wheel hop. Also all 4 of these runs were run in a span of 25 minuets. Not good for the stock intercooler. Anyways the next day I found out that I had some problems. I found out that my rear tires had 45psi. Thats way to much! Then the ghetto mod to my stock air box malfunctioned(ooops). This caused a partial blockage of air into the air box. While I was fixing the air box, I decided to extend the front scoop of the intercooler so it could pull more air while driving. All problems now fixed, I lowered the tire pressure to 14psi, went to my favorite issolated stretch of road and did some launches from 3k-4k rpms. WOW what a differance. The tires really hook up now. I cant wait till next weekend. |

All you got to do is get a downpipe or take out the converters and you would be in 13.5's like nothing.

My 1/8 mile is better than yours, so it might be that. I don't now. What tiers where u running on btw?

something is off...... 13.3 @ 102 is odd. or your car has WAY more power you just did really bad driving ????
that is the only way i can explain it. i ran 13.7 @ 100MPH but that was a near perfect run |
Ran an 11.80 at 118.54 tonight, with a cat. Very pleased! Peter Farrell does TUNE!

man that is fast for stock twins. what tires were you running?

Did another run tonight and im realy disapointed. Did only manage a 13.123
1.935 135.85Km/h (84.906 mph) 8.489 171.84 13.123Km/h (107,4 mph) Did find out that im losing about 0.3 bar at second gear and about 0.2 at third gear. Then loading 1.0 bar at 4th 0.7 at second 0.8 at third 1.0 at fourth I belive it's to warm intake temps. But next year i will have a TD07-S singel turbo so i hope taht vill be better. Oh and i did run on Bridgestone S-03. Next year is def drag slicks time. BTW a freind of mine did run 10.31 and 139.75 MPH today in his 750 rwhp supra |
Well finally got a few good runs tonight, all done on street tires, my mods- apexi power fc(untuned) stock sequential turbos, stockmidpipe, pettit catback ,catless downpipe, intakes, custom front mount, pwr radiator.pulleys,.. keep in mind im only running 10 psi on stock turbos...
2.001-60 foot 8.6 - 1/8th mile@ 84 mph 13.2@108.3 mph rest of my runs werent so good in the 60 foot department, still all but 2 were 108mph traps,..i blame my heavy foot:) after all my last car was a subaru WRX...confident i can nail a few more 2.0s easy next time. anyone got the hook up on drag radials? :) |
I have only run a few times and need to tune my Holley for the rotary, but I have got a 9.8 on a 1/8 mile.

Yes, it was hot in san antonio the cold front came
in and we got rained out. I have a t70 w/1.00qtrim I notice too much lag between shifts even at 19psi. I am going to do a 68gtq with smaller hot side.I also am running stock ignition. Plan is to do an msd setup, spring wastegate to run 25psi, and tune for one racefuel.I ran c16 and my spark wont light it. I love the kaaz-have a 11 pound flywheel but am going back to stock, 1.5 60fts is goal. Any input appreciated. |

9.6 1/8th mile 12a power, with a non tuned holley. And old shit 185/75/13 tires. Havent run in a while should be getting back to the track soon!
