Anybody got a conversion chart to convert an fittings to metric, or inch.
also a cheap place online to order fittings (other than summit)

The AN fitting "dash" number is the outside diameter of the ridged metal tube in 16ths of an inch. For example:
-4 = 4/16" = 1/4"
-8 = 8/16 = 1/2"
-16 = 16/16 = 1"
AN fittings are expensive, and I don't know of any way around that.

Thanks Evil, now at least it makes some more sense! I useually make all my own stuff due to costs and wife. my current setup all of the fittings are brazzed or sweated togethor from various stuff i had sitting around, but soon my car goes to Amamiya, so I gotta clean up the mess in the engine bay first.
summit is probably your cheapest choice.
all my AN fittings are "summit brand" fittings made by goodridge.
some autoparts stores will make you hydralic and fuel lines for pretty cheap
