good lord those are some HUGE ports :D Good job! Looks amazing... how much hp are we expecting here?

It's hard for me to tell what pipe you used. Here is a link that shows all the OD's and ID's of standard aluminum sch40 pipe sizes. Nothing is 2.5" OD.

trailing plug chamber
has any 1 played with the trailing plug hole size? |
that is not an area I have heard anyone work

BIG
Those are some of the BIGGEST Exhaust Ports I've ever seen! What rpm will the motor make peak power?
|
It's a turbo motor by the way.

Let's put it this way. The motor Jesus built for Ken has 2" ID. I have not seen Jesus's but Ken said he had the same setup except he runs a carb setup.

The monster motor should be done soon. all the pipes are in the works now then im ready to clean it up and build
|
Cool! I look forward to seeing it ;)

Hello everyone! I'm new here and have a question about porting:
What are the diferences in terms of power and torque low and high in the rpms, fuel economy, engine life and day to day driveability of the different ports (street, bridge, J port, Monster port, P port, exhaust port)? |
|
Holy-sher-fugg'n-moly! Look at this shit!

Why go thru all that expense and not use a slide throttle?
|
It's probably setup for drag racing.
|
Damn - thats a hell of a setup there. It's purdy
|
Mmm, 4-rotor PPort goodness. :yum:

Originally posted by crispeed Trust me it's bigger!:) crispeed Right now the 2" ID is working very well for Ken and he is pretty sure he can get more out of it. If Ken does decide to go bigger we can do that but bigger means a lot more intake duration unless changes are made to build up the ID of the tube at the point of intake and play with some grinding. |
im redoing a set of rotor housings i will take pics later
|
Could you make the Port ID smaller and place it higher for a more Trackable power band?
