13b Re Fsm??

is there an FSM for the RE motor?? or is it somewhat equivalent to the 13bt?? i see that the motor i have in the fc has the emissions off but there are still some things uncapped and intact so i can be sure that i dont mess anything up...ill post some pics later in the week of what i mean...

Look at the 3rd gen FSM as the 2 motors are very similar.

Yeah pretty much. The RE is inbetween the S5 FC TII and the FD REW. The turbo system is pretty much exactly the same as the FD. The secondary is a smaller turbo. If you look at the FD manual it will pretty much let you know everything about the RE.

The main difference between the RE and the REW is the RE has a CAS and the FD does not.

I have an RE in the garage and have built several REW's if you have any questions post up and I will help where i can.

I used both FSM (89-91, 93+) when I rebuilt my RE. I bought couple of JDM manuals for cosmo later. They helps me with electronis, dual thermostats system etc.

ivegonemad 04-14-07 06:07 PM

ok so what type of intake could i use, the space between the turbo is tight and cant figure out what to do?? just wondering for those who kept the stock twins how did you guys set it up...

13BT_RX3 04-14-07 08:14 PM

You could use separate filters. One for each.

ivegonemad 04-14-07 08:30 PM

^ thats what im plan on using but i nned extensions...i seen the apexi intakes with polished elbows?? but would it work??

rotaryinspired 04-17-07 09:38 AM

Go to ebay and by the intake piping for the 3rd gen and add K&N filters to it, or have some one fab you some up.

ivegonemad 04-17-07 02:01 PM

i bought some fd stock intake ducts, would these work??
