Rx-7 10th AE -VS- Camaro SS
I havent posted in a while so hopefully this will get me back in the mood.
This race happened a couple years ago. The camaro guy has a big mouth as is notorious for claiming wins that never happen, jumping on the second honk (which he does in these vids), and basically being a jerk. My 10th AE -BNR Stage 4 13psi -Greddy R-Spec Intercooler -ACT Clutch/Flywheel -890cc Prims, 1680cc Secs -APexi Power FC -18" Rims -2525lbs wet without me (240lbs at the time, plus 150lb passenger) -Tuned at rx7.com -12.1 @ 116 Camaro -All stock except for a lid (some kind of intake mod) according to driver... but found this online... What MPH were you going from? Why didn't you brake boost? you would have been side by side then you would have walked him instead of playing catchup every single time.

just startn - We were going from a 35 roll and 40 roll...don't remember which vids specifically. I know it seems like I lagged really bad but actually he was jumping out before me. I know you can hear the horn honks in the video but I couldn't hear anything in my car. I just saw the camaro go, then I had to play catch up. Power in my car actually came on very quickly.

don't mean to hijack, but man, I have a story too! i had a chick in her new SS bumble bee camaro fucking around, zig zagin her way to traffic, acting like she owns the road. I was at 6th gear, i see her approaching i tried to close the gap so she won't cut me off, but NO!!! she force my ass to back off! alright, camaro, is on! you think you all that cause you have the fucking transformer emblem on? yes, thats right, transformer. she sees that now i am trying to cut her off, but will always close it, or another shitty car will block me. so came upon the opportunity to cut her off and.... EWG!!!! goes right off! WOT! on her ass! she, did not liked that at all! she gets next to me, were neck to neck, and off we go! i must say, there fast, very fast. we were side by side and off i took my exit and she went on her merry way lol I forgot to add, i was driving no rx7, but my WRX STI making a little over 300whp and shit load of torque. i mean, not bad for being stock turbo and 3000lb+ car. she was a really bitch. |

for the fc owner, is your interior stripped? or did you remove the sound deadning material? |

Wow. I remember this story. It was on Houston-Imports.com . Under the Underdogs got spanked again i think ( name of the the drivers ex crew )
Theres a lot more to this story then what the driver is telling us. Both Drrivers were at fault. Both were being dumbasses. But at the end the camaro was slower and if I remember correctly the camaro had NOS as well. |

I avoided getting jumped (for winning). So in conclusion, the magical stories you've heard were obviously started and lean towards making me look like the bad guy and those 15 some guys looking like the innocent good people that were the victims. |

Not to take the thunder away, but neither car is running that fast. From the looks yes the 7 did start to reel the Camaro back in, but the Camaro clearly let out of it in all the vids. One reason not to roll race there will always be an arguing, another is that wow that's FWD nonsense. From a dig heads up style would have been interesting, but all in all nice pull for the 7 owner.
Congrats. BTW if there was no money involved then there definitely was no reason to argue. |

They consistantly lie about mods, lie about races, and cheat in races. Why would they tell you the truth in this instance? Of course I got out, there was a heated argument, because he said he beat me in every race, which is an unbelievable lie. The videos prove it. During the argument, I was surrounded by at least 5 guys that were in my face. I looked back to see where my buddies were incase these race-thugs started swinging. I saw a couple of my buddies but they were the younger guys. When I looked back forward, somebodys gf was pushing me away, then somebody got mad because she was pushing me. Then a couple of the 5 guys in my face started throwing their hands up and balling their fists. I looked back at one of my younger buddies, and I told him to get a bar, I grabbed it and waited for somebody to swing. They stopped and it ended pretty quickly. I got no problem swinging it out one on one, but getting jumped wasnt happening that night. I say I avoided it. I never denied pulling out the bar. Let me repeat: I pulled out a bar. But I didnt get jumped. Maybe that is where Marco and I are mistaken. I was also pissed because we had some previous races where our black fc beat them and they got on the internetz saying how they won and blah blah blah, lieing about no nitrous, saying the car only had an intake. But we had no video to prove we won. This time we did. They did too (look in the last video, theres a camera sticking out of the passenger window of the camaro). That video was also magically "lost". Dont get your panties all in a bunch over a race and, unfortunately, race drama, that you werent a part of. I could talk shit about you never making any power in an RX-7, lieing about RX-7's you own, flooding rx7club with useless threads, and basicaly being a waste of internet space... but i wont. I wish you luck on your RX-7 endeavours. I hope the best for you. To everyone else, like I said, there was a bunch of irrelevent backstory to this race. I apologize for hi-jacking my own thread. Hopefully we can now get back on topic. I also feel inclined to post some more videos from about the same time with other cars. Keep an eye out for the thread. |

LOL My car isn't up to that level. A few of the guys I know have big power DSM's & turbo Vettes, they just race all the time so I go with them.

A good friend of mine is a tuner & a lot of the cars that come through the shop he tunes at are turbo Vettes, turbo Stangs & boosted new Hemi's. He is a DSM guy, hanging out with him I see a good number of big power cars.

I have a question for the guy creating issues. I don't know you or this other cat, but when he (bigdv519) made some claims your responses were a little unclear.
1. He said you didn't have a 3 rotor. You state that you sold it. To me he is not wrong here. 2. He said you don't have an FD. You state it's in the family. Unless the car is in your name & belongs to you then you don't own it, family members cars don't count. 3. You say you heard from so & so right? It doesn't matter who told you, his friends or the guys he raced. The problem with that is everything is second hand, which means you were not there. So all in all it seems to me that you are just making problems. Never speak on things you don't know about, if someone is not telling the whole story let the people who were actually involved speak up. All the stuff after the race has no bearing on the race so why even bring it up? The only things that matter are the mods of the two cars involved, the conditions of the race & if there was money involved. |
