WA new camaro slap down

just cruising through town minding my own bussiness and enjoying the day, this young guy pulls up beside me in a new camaro. I have the new muffler on so the car is really quiet now. he turns down the stereo and says nice rear wing. I shrug it off as a kid in a new car. He looks over and gives it a good rev..........game on. I don't even rev the car, light turns green, I take it to 8k cut her loose and dust his doors to the next light. As he rolls up to the light his only comment is WTF is under the hood...............my comment........just a 1.3 liter rotary.........classic...........

do not know what was under the hood... relate it to just a young driver that did exspect a little Mazda to do such a hard launch and grab a gear or two that fast. been racing all my life and grew up street racing a 66 nova with a bad *** 283. later in life I build a 69 elcamino with a 700 hp 406 small block that was the fastest street car I ever owned. on the track would do high to mid 10's and loved every minute of it.

As for my 6port, not sure what numbers it is putting out, but I have spent a lot of time to make it run correctly, runs as good as any fuel injected car, pretty dam quick and launches the best of any 7 I have owned. will be doing dyno pulls next week if all works out well.
Hoping for 170hp numbers....would be awesome for a all used parts engine that was built in one late night evening at a friends house(armyofone) with only new seals, runs the best of any 13b I have ever owned,,,,,,,,,,,,,so happy.
