I was the DD last night for my friend so I took him out in the 7. On the way to the party we stopped at a gas station to meet some people and I see this STI. I park and talk to a couple of my friends next thing you know these 3 guys in this STI roll up and ask if I want to race. My friend yells out the window your gonna loose son. I start laughing and I agree to the race. Side note the guys in the STI looked pretty damn confident they were gonna smoke me. We go from a dig, I don't go for a hard launch and he gets me by a couple cars right off the bat. By the time I'm in second I start pulling on him hard. By third I'm a couple cars ahead, I let up before shifting into 4th and he was bus lengths behind. My friends eyes are just wide open he's screaming saying that **** was awesome, I can see why you like this stuff. The STI rolls up next to me at the next light and says that things not stock is it, I laugh a little and just say no, and thank him for the race and I head back to the gas station. It was a memorable race because It was the first time my friend had rode in my car and it was the first time he has ever been in a race, its always good to win the first one.
