sorry man but i do not think hondas are cheap to mod in any way, hell to get a honda into the 10's ill say you have to put more money than in and fd or fc turbo. making a honda turbo is a risk unless your running low psi or you sleeved the block, you know how much that cost do you?? all thoes hondas out there making 400whp+ have a lot of $$ dump into that engines, sleeved block, forged pistons, forged rods, standalone, turbo, etc. in those parts only you have a freaking lot of money. on an fd or fc what do you do to make 400Whp, take the engine out, street ported, standalone and a big turbo and thats it. well you know and injectors etc but the honda also has to put injectors and all that. if you know how to street port your engine yourself its going to be a hell of a lot less to be faster and more cheap than a honda. the fd make 300whp+ on stock twins, getting a honda do 300whp is also more money that on a fd. in my opinion hondas are in no way cheap to mod unless you just want and ordinary honda that runs averagely then yes they're cheap but if you want a fast honda youre going to need some serious money to dump in it. in my opinion if you know how to work on a rotary by yourself it's not that difficult to have a fast car with less money than a lot of piston engines out there.

He'd have to be boosting AT LEAST 10 psi to come close to you. And with that much boost it'll blow withing 5-10k miles easy. Unfortunetly it only costs 200-300 bucks for a new d-series engine...

.

Actually D series motors are very strong. I've heard of stock bottom ends running 400hp reliably. And yea even if they do blow, theyre cheap, fortunably.

honda engine engineering is probably the best engineering out there right now the have built the best stock piston engin for the last 10 yrs easy no other piston engine is able to stand up the the abuse the the dumb ass kids have been able to do to them. not much of a honda guy unless its for daily driving but all around they are outstanding for what they are intended for good gas milage and reliablity i wish honda would have done the rotary then maybe we would be able to get more out of our engines like the honda's are. just my 2 cents.

1. XS Power turbos won't last long enough for you to pull out of the driveway.

2. Peripheral ports? not streetable.

3. Mirabile, this pic cracked me up

No fd guy in his right mind would put that kit on his fd, i was trying to make a point that if an fd wanted to cheap mod like some honda guys do, they would just buy an ebay turbo.
