ME VS gt35r fully built hatch
So like usual today me and some of my buddys go hang out at the meets. well i pull up and my buddy who just got there before me told me " your gonna run this hatch!" I was like what? he was like yeah man i already set you up a race. This hatch is pretty well known around this area and i heard about him. So a couple of minutes later the hatch pulls up and ask me if i'm ready i was like i guess. Come to find out i'm running his little brother too. So we get on the highway.
60-roll he brake boost like a motherfucker three honks and we are off by 140 he got me by a car length. i was like damn. these hondas are fucking fast lol next race- at 60 be brakes boost again three honks and we are off same outcome the last race- so i was shit man i just cant hang with him so i just turn the boost up a little bit. we both brake boost at 60 and we are off third gear i'm starting to pull him then when i shifted to fourth i missed i was oh hell naw but yeah i lost. next time more boost and a better tune than a fucking street tune lols |
I hate to say it but if it is fully biult with a gt35r I will almost gaurantee he wasnt boosting more than 10 lbs if he beat you on a freeway run by only a car... I have a good freind who has a JDM integra which is a lot heavier than a hatch and he was a fully biult ls/v-tec with a gt35r he hasnt tuned for high boost but at his low boost 14lbs he dynoed 512 to the wheels... I recently had the privelage of going for ride...and on the freeway his 60-140...lets just say I dont think anything should move that quick and be on the street I couldnt pull myself out of the seat untill around 160 when he let off. Good luck though... Keep an eye out for it should be in the next month on Super Street, blue JDM integra. :)

yeah he was only pushing 12 or 13 lbs he said but damn that was the fastest hatch i ever raced. yup its time to get retuned this time on the damn dyno. i have it on the came corder but i just dont know how to upload it to the computer. it uses a mini dvd disc.

Chris Im sorry to burst your bubble but a ls/v with a 35r at 14 pounds will NOT make 512 to the wheels...More like 430-470whp if THAT....You might have your PSI mistaken...To make that much power to THE WHEELS you will need at the very least 18-22 pounds.. |
Willing to put your money where your mouth is? Ill go out of my way to post a video of it being dynoed, with a split of the boost gauge and the dyno sheet afterwards... $500 If you win I pay you, If I win you have to pay me and change you quote to "I LOSE TO HONDAS" And just for referance it was 1 bar 14.7lbs

Here is an article on the car...http://www.urbanracer.com/articles/a...sp?a=2991&z=40 I dont know how you guys do things back there in Wisconsin but out here things are a little different like I said make it worth my time and Ill get you all the proof you want. 1.8 liter block yeah boreded out and 1.6 liter head? Do you even know the purpose of running a b16 head on a ls block? It has a fully biult GSR head. Anyways Im not the big internet man and this is a RX7 forum I just hate when un-educated people try to talk about stuff they obviously know nothing about. How much of your car did you biuld? Or do you just refer to what is put on paper? I know peopel running fully biult b16 with over 500hp at 28lbs myabe you should step your game up a little. And like I said hes running 14.7 lbs california 91 Octane at the pump gas.

Injectors hes running 4 1000cc with an FJO driver...Running Hondata, Manifold is made by his shop redzone... I wasnt there for the actual tune so i didint see A/F but if i had to guess I would say somewhere around 11.7-11-9...Just goes to show you how little you do know becasue although those things are relavent thats not major determiners of making power.lol... Now if you would have asked me the bore size, if the block was sleeved or what kind of porting was done to the head, and what size rear housing he was running on the turbo I might have thought you knew what you where talking about. And just for shits and giggles why dont you tell me the reasoning behind a b16 head on a ls block? And the best set-up? are you serious best set-up by far is a k20 lol ls-v-tec maybe 4 years ago. Biult more cars than me? I dont care how old you think you are or how young you think I am but I asure you your wrong my freind...Helping your freind put a clutch in his car doesnt count... :)

Chris thank you. PS- LIke I said, it is possible but without information everyone will not believe that car will make 500 whp @ 14psi unless its GT4088 or GT4094 maybe even GT42r. :icon_tup: |
Im not arguing and this is all in good fun.... Out here k20 dont cost 5 grand... ever since they started putting them in accords people just buy the bottom end from that. cost like 500-700 bucks then pick up a rsx head and tranny thats the pricy part cost around 2k... Everything else has to be custom anyways, mounts, header, fuel. Can get it done out here for around 6k complete. And they make comparable power to a fully biult ls-vtec all motor. With a lot less head ache. A really good freind of mine just finished his fully biult all motor ls/v-tec and he dynoed 250 to the wheels my other freind has a k20 swap and made around the same power only differance is my freind with the k20 drives the piss out of it everyday and does no maintanace except change the oil every 5k and hes been beating the crap out of it for I dont know how long now never had problems.

Just for referance the integra is his daily driver he was conservative in the tuning... He hasnt been driving it lately becasue hes cleaning it up for its Super Street Debut :) And I dont tune hondas and ive been thinking aobut getting into tuning 7 but I dont think with a good set-up everything biult right 26 degrees of timing is a lot is it? When I biult my 1g eclipse I was going as much as 35-40 degrees unless I got knock or detonation then I would pull some out. thing about hondas, toyotas, pretty much anything other than a rotory is you can add timing untill you get knock or detontation then pull some out Rotories are so pick if you do that you blow them lol.
