Saw an FD with Vortex Generators on roof. wondered who makes them and what best placement on fd is .

but i want to be a bum and have someone tell me the exact location of laminar separation and thus the proper mount location and also who sells um

 

Basically there's not much choice unless you want to glue them to the window. Just put them along the top of the window.

 

Wulp heres an oldie but a goodi....take some oil and drizzle a thin line across the roof go run it and see where it goes.........or go rent Langley's tunnel and blow some smoke(JK)
