So its like a alchole altered motor with a turbo. nice! :)
Alcy should negate the need for a giant IC as well. ;) |
It's certainly different.
Thats sweet bro!!! Get that beast painted and youll be the bad boy on the block. Seriously congrats its lokks great
Should have turned the turbo around so you could just cut a holein the bumper for the intake :)

yallgotboost-
........that should be a pretty sick creation when it is finished. What is the projected weight for it when completed? Are those s/s or mild steel headers? Also what do you plan to run as far as a transmission and what rear out back and style suspension? Do you propose to keep it all under the hood? Would make for one hell of a sleeper. Make sure you either get the headers high temp coated or at the least wrap them in header wrap (may cause metal fatigue and cracking). The underhood heat in the FC engine bay with any turbocharged motor can get excessive and will affect the cooling system. Pay us a visit at the V8RX7 forum: http://www.torquecentral.com/forumdi...?s=&forumid=11 Later, GNX7 |
Wow, thats pretty cool.. Not a fan of piston swaps, but damn look at all the custom work~!
This is the one I like.
https://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/r.../waste_039.jpg But why does the exhaust point forward? |
the headers are mild steel i plane to get them jet hot coated as for the rear its gettin a ford 9" with a 4 link setup every part onb the car i have made been alot of work should run good
oops double post
Isn't that bumper exhaust going to melt the plastic?
AND what about the fumes when you're crusing for chicks? CW |
the 5" DP come threw the fender not the bumper
gnx7 i have no idea how to post on that site it will not let me for some reason my sn is yallgotboost
I think he means the heat off the turbine housing, not the DP.
I'm a rotary purist that doesn't even own a rotary. I'd like to see what that kind of money invested in a 20B setup would do:D
BUT! I have a lot of respect for someone who can do that kind of work! Looks good man! Good luck at the track. |
Thats freakin' sick!!! In a good way of course. Good luck...

Is this a drag car or for road racing? I'm guessing drag but I'm dumb so please tell me.
Hum talk about front heavy, but who cares even I have thought about a LS1 too. :) How it the weight and how it is distributed?
Looks great, thats some of the largest turbo piping ive seen.
the car is a drag car but might hit the street on a friday night it will be in the 2004 motorsports racing expo
Beutyfull!! Very inspirational!!! I just got the itch for a project!
Again, nice work! It'll be a good contender for drag.
It's definitely geared for drag and NOT road racing. Who cares if the exhaust is pointing upwards? It's a short exit for a few second pass. I doubt the car's weight is vastly affected with the v-8. Depending on what components are used and how the rest of the car is prepped, it could be balanced. A 20B conversion couldn't touch this set-up. Great job! J |
im not really sure how balanced the car is but it should hook very well with the rear setup i have from pushing the car around feels very light compared to it with the rotary
but i'll take a 20b conversion ne day. i too think the balance shouldn't be affected much

Lookin sick....be sure to post some numbers:D
