RIP Dennis Golden

Saw a post from NASPORT on FB that Dennis Golden has passed a couple of weeks ago. Seems like pancreatic cancer.

I have spent time with him at various races over the years when he was supporting friends at the track. Nice guy. Lots of cool stories about racing old RX’s

He will be missed

i am very sorry to hear about Dennis. we both raced in GT3 and got to know each other at the Runoffs at Road Atlanta. Dennis was one of my favorite people to talk racing with. i knew i had a picture of him, this is somewhere around 1987 at Road Atlanta heading in to turn one on lap one for the GT3 National Championship. Dennis is the yellow fender on the far right. i am far left.

Dennis always had a humorous twist on things, knew pretty much everything you needed to know as to racing, had rotaries/SCCA in his blood and was a serious competitor when the green flag dropped.

so sorry to hear, he was a neat guy.

The good die young indeed...... want to live forever? Take up a career in politics.

Rest in peace, sounds like he was a great dude

I did not know him or know of him, but he was one of us and so, nonetheless, my condolences to those that knew him.
