ASP or SM2?

I think you are good for ASP.

Thanks. They accepted/agreed that I should be in ASP.

Previously that would have put you in SSM (used to be SM2) |
At local events, you would be classed ASP with no problem.
For National events, you may have to change some to be in strict compliances with the rules. http://cms.scca.com/documents/Solo_R...Solo_Rules.pdf ASP under Section 15. - Sandro |
He is a ssm class car if he uses r- compond.
Thanks Robert |
oops. left out a few details apparently. Street tires fuzion zri 245/45/16. dry cell battery relocated to passenger bin bolted to the shell of the car. I'll report back on how I do and what class i'm in for others future reference. I do think i'll be in asp though.

Agree with Sandro on tires...but you probably got a Power FC, which is a nogo in ASP. SSM for you.

After market ECU (including the Power FC) are allowed in ASP - Sandro |
I ran in ASP. Totally sucked. Fastest time of the day was a 45.xx secs My best was 55.1xxsecs. I managed to hit no cones on any 6 runs, spun once, but had the greatest time. Now I just have to learn tire pressure for street tires and work on being smooth. I think 35/30 f/r ended up being the best for me. Thanks all. Lots of reading to do now. Feel free to close the topic.
