I'm hoping once I get some seat time it'll run similar times to the FD and lower as I upgrade susp etc....

For it to be somewhat fair, I think you need to modify your FD, so it's closer to 415HP, and purchase two sets of those take-offs I was telling you about . . .

:-) neil

Oh it's most definitely on :egrin:

Looked like a 2.12 in the vid so hopefully those motons will come with a bottle of NOS

ImStillOnJava 02-23-11 09:17 PM

Congrats Fritz! Awesome purchase :D

patfat 02-23-11 09:22 PM

Yep, that was a 2:12 before the new suspension and on old tires, but not making any excuses (224rwhp) :)

Peter, we better see you there!

Hence the bottle statement. I think this car dynoed 369 and weighs about 3100 :)

I think I ran approx 2.08 or 9 on Sunday with what may have been the worst tires I've ever driven on and that's saying something, who am I kidding I just remembered the one time I ran on circa 70s nylon hoosiers now those puppies will help you work on your slip angle lol

I'm looking forward to a ride. Are you going to buy Hoosiers or run a slick?

With this size tire I'll probably try to find one offs in any make I can get. Pretty much any tire in the size I need for the rears will retail for 300 plus so it doesn't make sense to buy new if used ones in good shape are out there for 75 each especially for HPDE work.

I may not have a passenger seat installed but if I do I'd love to get you out there in it :icon_tup:

Hey guys

VIR lists the Zone 2 event as March 18-20, but Zone 2 lists it as March 11-13. Either of you confirmed?

I'm pretty sure it's the 18-20th or atleast that's what I'm signed up for hehe :)

patfat 02-24-11 03:32 PM

Peter, we're both confirmed 18-20. Signup here: http://www.motorsportreg.com/

Fritz, I'll bring the extra seat out of the Lemons car. I wonder if a 993 seat mount will work in a 997? You may want to check w/ Bob Chick for scrubs. I heard that Bob Woodman is putting the squeeze on Bob Chick tho.

Sexy. The GT3RS isn't bad either.

Congrats on the purchase Fritz.

I have not idea but if does I'll buy it :)

I have a good momo seat I can put in on the passenger side but no rail.

OneRotor 02-25-11 02:25 PM

Are you heading to DGRR?

It's a Brey Krause Model R-9060 and it will work in your car. I'll bring it down to the track, or if you want it before hand I'll drop it in the mail. Let me know

Thanks man and I agree, I love green track cars :)
