New to the buying JDM motors game and I wanted to know if anyones had any experiances with the ebay seller, JDM_PLANET, Good or bad. Also I notice a TON of front clips on his ebay page... Immediately my mind jumps to "Gone in 60 Seconds"... How do the JDM importers do what they do?

Yes and it's decent but buying no warranty motors is kinda shady... I heard from a few that it was a decent idea... I'm looking for the person who got really screwed.

 

I bought a 2jz from chris at Jdm planet. Came with a ogura super single clutch, greddy filter relocation and looked super clean. Compression tested it and it came out very good. I'm very happy with it, shipping was fast and communication was great. The only things I have to complain about are it looks like it was outside for a little while, no big deal. Also the starter and ignitor where missing. One call to chris and he sent it express. Got it 2 days later. Very good seller IMO. I'd buy from him again.

i just bought a 13b tii swap and they fucked me royally; my rear seal is blown, wiring harness cut, connectors busted...

Stay away from them...i hope its not too late..
