Fake feedback

hey guys
i think what your doing with the feedback is great but is it real most of them times ?

i think you ll need to find a better way for that.i personally dont believe all the feedbacks people received or sent are true

i m being scammed by a guy that i wont name for now and he is in the Good/Bad guy with really good feedback received

con

str8ryd 12-07-06 09:37 AM

Well, how much feedback did this member have? I think it's best to find multiple threads started by different people giving positive feedback. Otherwise find a thread with multiple people providing feedback. Finally, it's best to actually contact those people to make sure the seller is legit. There are other ways to avoid getting scammed, you need to be much more careful though.

Let me help you out Con....I am the guy that is SCAMMING this gentleman...Lol...

To make a long story short, The package I shipped to him has been Lost/Stolen/ or UPS never recieved the packages...I am processing an insurance claim as we speak...UPS has to do some kind of investigation...And I have to provide some type of reciept showing the value of the goods I shipped so I can get the insurance check...

All the feedback on me is real...I didnt pay anyone to say good things about me...And the guys that said good things arent my old buddys or anything like that...Your money will be refunded Con...I have nothing to hide... :icon_tup:

Thanks,
Shawn

I've also brought parts from Chunky04, I received them in time and item was just as he described. Con, you shouldn't worry too much about this transaction. You have to understand UPS deals with millions of packages daily, so if 1 or 2 package gets lost doesn't surprised me.

rrrx7 you need to chill out and have some patience.
accidents happen.
esspecially with ups, lol.

R-R-Rx7 12-07-06 04:17 PM

i understand that shit happens
but if the seller could provide proof i would feel better
the thing is going for over 2 months and all i get is nothing
i told chunky04, if im provided with the right things i wont bother him
but it seems that he doesnt want to understand

thanks

2 months is a long time..
hope you guys get it resolved.

nick812 12-07-06 04:37 PM

I filled a insurance claim and it took almost 2 weeks for the money to get to the buyer. Just sit tight chucky aint tring to screw you. They dont give you a claim # or at least they didnt give me 1 but you should be able to check on it with the tracking # but that may not be true. But i think that is how we checked on it.

R-R-Rx7 12-07-06 05:02 PM

tracking number wouldnt work from the first place
i even called to ups and mbe and they both told me that the tracking number is invalid

thanks

The Wankler 12-07-06 05:04 PM

For gods sake, be patient. Claims take time.

Recently, I sent a aluminum oil pan to a guy in Arizona. Almost a month and a half went by before we resolved the issue. The postman put it in the cab of the truck on blocks in his front yard. Go figure.... If I have just gone ahead and payed him back(refunded), I could be out a couple hundred bucks. I pleaded for his patience, and it worked out.

R-R-Rx7 12-07-06 05:16 PM

did the tracking number worked ? could he see that the item was sent?

Chunky04 12-07-06 07:38 PM

Lol...this is such a mess...I wish I had the money laying around...I would just refund your money and I would wait on the insurance check...Stay calm Con....I will have you taken care of...

Thanks,
Shawn

As soon as the buyer was informed that the package was lost, stolen, broken wtf ever he should of been immediately refunded.

I completely agree with you 100%...... The only problem with that is, I just spent roughly $600 of the total $1000 on shipping alone, it was 2 boxs that went out of the country...:( But I will most likely refund his money sooner than I get the check from UPS...Just to get the situation taken care of sooner....

Thanks,
Shawn

R-R-Rx7 12-08-06 10:55 AM

you spent the 600 out of the 1000 right?
how about the other money that you sold your car? or the other Lexion rims?
thanks Fritz Flynn

Maybe a partial refund can settle this mess.

R-R-Rx7 12-08-06 06:04 PM

partial refund? or refund in installments, because I mnot willing to lose any money from this transaction.

daze 12-08-06 08:40 PM

I meant partial refund for now then when he find where the package is then refund the rest of the money. Maybe the package is lost or taken by someone else. If he files a claim, he should get the money back within 3 weeks.

R-R-Rx7 12-08-06 08:56 PM

that would be nice.

but as i am saying if m not provided with the right things i dont even believe that he send the package out.

let him decide about it
either provide me real evidence or refund my money

thanks daze

Sideways7 12-08-06 09:05 PM

While I don't doubt that the seller is telling the truth, you need to provid the buyer with some sort of way to show that you are doing something. Claim number, shipping recipt, something. That way you can calm everyone down.

R-R-Rx7 12-08-06 09:06 PM

thats what i m talking about
thanks sideways7

BASTARD 12-08-06 09:22 PM

typically... the only reason a seller doesn't provide a tracking number is because they didnt ship the package on the day that they said they would. and then the seller always says something like, "I had personal family problems to deal with". I always provide a ship by date and a working tracking number for anyone who buys something from me. It's just simple respect

R-R-Rx7 12-09-06 05:22 PM

good point BASTARD but let chunky say what he has to say about it.
i even asked for his phone number but and all i got was " i already have a big hazzle from that transaction" :Wconfused

dbragg 12-09-06 05:52 PM

rrrx7-- you are being a little impatient in some poeples eyes, BUT for a grand you have every right to be. i have no personal experience with either of you. heres what needs to be done:

chunky you HAVE to have SOMETHING you can show rrrx7. any paper work, emails from UPS, something. i find it hard to believe you wouldnt have anything when youre filing a claim with UPS. whatever you have, show the man.

now if chunky shows you something that shows he is legit, then you, rrrx7, need to calm down and give the man time. chunky you need to keep theman posted on the status of the situation. i mean this is $1000 of his. i wouldnt be too calm if i paid $1000 for something and ad nothing to show for it.

as sudjest above, maybe a partial, or full, refund is in order until UPS gets their shit straight. thats between you two. chunky, you as a seller have a responsibility to the buyer to get him his goods or money back. i dont doubt youre a good person as many have sudjested, but you need to handle this situation a little better. i mean think about it, what if you were in his shoes? would you be all calm about someone you dont even know having $1000 from you and you nothing to show for it? find the man SOMETHING from UPS to help calm his nerves.

rrrx7, if you dont mind me asking, what did you buy from him?

R-R-Rx7 12-09-06 06:24 PM

thanks aws140 but i dont know if you ve noticed it before
i told chunky just to provide me some real proof and i wont bother him again until he has the money from ups
i bought a set of enkei aegis 19inch rims

thanks

con

dbragg 12-09-06 06:33 PM

i have seen where you have stated that to chunky. it KIND OF appears as though hes avoiding that...if thats the case, thats not good. nothing else can really be dome until chunky comes and puts in his input.

I cant believe you revealed his plan!

planning long in advance with fake feedback just to rip you off

BRILLIANT I tell you! The perfect crime!

Chunky04 12-10-06 05:23 PM

Hey guys,

Im back...Wow...I cant believe this thread is getting so much attention...

Con,

I am glad your keeping my finances in line for me:) If you must know...I bought my car for $11,000...I sold my car for $7700 with no motor, tranny, or wheels...I still owed $9876...Therefor I came up with $2176 out of pocket just to pay the car off...

What about the Lexions you say??? I sold those to a local friend with a G35...He has only paid $500 on them so far...

All of the above is pretty much irrelavent, but you asked...:)

I shipped your shipment..(4 19" eneki rims) in 2 boxes...I used a company called Mail Boxes Etc... www.mbe.com ...Only because they could do the shipment alot less than directly through UPS...Mbe is basically a middle man for UPS...

I provided you with a UPS tracking number...Which as I told you...the UPS tracking number wont be good until UPS recieves the packages....

I also provided you with 8 actual pictures of all the paperwork I had from your shipment...Did I or did I not? If you missed those, I will be more than happy to send them to you again...Now granted I blacked out some of my personal info on the shipment reciept (My phone number, UPS account number, and the name of the business I ship through) but it is still very clear that you were provided with actual ups paperwork with your correct information...

^^^^ all of the above information has already been provided...I have copys of pm's and emails...I didnt really care to make this a public matter, due to possibly making me look bad, but I guess its a little late for that:)

Now for what actually happend to the rims is beyond me...Possibly someone from the MBE store noticed the invoice said "Eneki Aegis 3-peice 19" rims" and he wanted some sick 3-piece rims? Therefor ups never recieved the boxes...Explaining why the tracking number still doesnt work... I really dont know...If I had to guess, that would be my guess as to what happened to the shipment...

But UPS and MBE are investgateing as we speak...So one of the companys will be paying up regardless...

As far as sending you partial refund payments until I get a check from UPS or MBE...I would love to do that...But I would also love for you to start being a little more polite and maybe mature up a little bit in some of the pm's you have sent me...No need to go into detail, you know what I am talking about...You would be amazed at what some kindness can do...

As far as giving my number out..."Give me your number, my cousin is from the U.S. he wants to give you a call." Ok...Lol...Let me give your cousin my number so he can call and fix the whole situation? I think not. Your cousin has nothing to do with this matter...There is no need for your cousin to contact me at this point...

I hope this answers all of your questions...If you have anymore questions feel free to shoot me a pm or email...I will get back with you shortly...I personally think this turning into a public matter is unneccasary...We have went over all of this a few times if I am not mistaken Con..

Thanks for everyone that has my back throughout this matter...:) I really appreciate it...

Thanks again,
Shawn

Im still trying to decide if this is a stab at me? or not? :dunno:

Either way, another reason why turning this into a public matter is no fun:)

Thanks,

its the opposite of a stab at you

it appears as though chunky has given you information you have failed to tell you about rrrx7. why did you choose to do this?

chunky, rrrx7 has a right to know the business you shipped through. this is HIS $1000 worth of wheels they "lost." give him the number so he can call them himself and see for himself that they are currently investigating the matter.

rrrx7, when chunky gives you the number call and be mature about the matter. dont go off the handle and start demanding/threatening. be polite and civilized, itll get you farther in life.

i hope to see this matter resolved quickly and without more fuss.
