Supplementary injectors.

Hi there
can any body tell me if the PFC can controll additional injectors and if so what will be needed.

one larst thing iv been told it can controll N20 is this true.

I have not seen anything suggesting it can control extra injectors.
By N20 do you mean rpm range at column N20 of the map or do you mean nitrous oxide?

You probably mean nitrous. No!

Iv been told today by my tuner that the PFC can controll extra injactors but i do not know all the details regarding this, has any body els heard any think abput this. also it was Nitrous i was talking about.

Best regards

The only way the PFC can control extra injectors would be like running 4 secondaries with low resistatnce in series or high rsistance in parallel. The overall impendance would have to match the stock range.
Running 4-850ccs this way would be like running
2-1700ccs. This would require splicing into the stock injector harness.

what is the overall impendance of the stock range, i would like to add 2 extra top feed 1600cc to my existing set up wich would consist of 550 primary 1600cc secondary and in edition 2 more 1600cc on the manifold would this work or should i buy a supplementary injector controlller the thing is iv heard that it isent all that good because there is no link between the Ecu and the controller so its hard to set up, is this true can someone advice me.

You can run 4X1600's in the secondary position as long as you run the wires in series, also make sure you can bring them in w/o any bogging when they transition. I would suggest though running 4X1000's as secondaries, and 2X850's in the primary location to avoid any transition problems instead, that's what I'll be doing with my setup.

thanks guys

Why the hell do you want to run 4 1600cc secondaries? What kind of turbo and how high of boost are you trying to run?

A lot of people on the board are making well over 400 rwhp with 550/1600s. A few use 850/1600s for over 450 rwhp.

Iam not to sure what boost iam gona be runing yet but iam aiming for somthink like 750rwhp it may be smaller injecters in the end that il use. once i run the engin in il do some testing to find out what iam gona need.

You need that much fuel if you wanna SAFELY make 600+RWHP. What do you think Ari is using? Answer = 4X1600's. Tony from T&R? Answer =4X1600's. I can
think of alot of other guys using this setup, but you get the idea. You need alot of fuel in a rotary to make big hp. As far as the injection systems go, Haltech, Motec, and Electromotive can control 1600's in the primary location, PFC cannot due to a minimium ms limit it will only be able to control injectors in the primary location that are 1000cc's the most, BUT, you can just run bigger, or double up on the secondaries as stated to compensate, and still make the same HP. A little more on this is written on this thread, of which I had to call and get information from Ralph(Ground Zero, formally known as Xcessive Motorsports).

This is true, BUT extra fuel supply limits never hurt anybody, especially if you want to turn up the boost later on, why do things twice, when you can do them once, do it right the first time, that's all.
