Sensor/ SW check, help (checked search)!
I powerder coat on my intake manifold after that car just won't start.
On Power FC, Sensor/sw check, VTA1: A/C O FPD O VTA2: PWS O FPR O VMOP: NTR X APR O WTRT: CLT O PAC X AIRT: STP O CCN X FUEL: 4.98v CAT X TCN O OS2: ELD X PRC On Fuel: 4.98v hilight, is this normal? Thank You |
The fuel switch shouldn't affect the car starting or not. I think you may have missed something else in the process of swapping out your manifold.
Read my how-to guide on pulling the upper intake manifold and see if you missed anything - http://www.clubrx.org/default.asp?id...ntent=63&mnu=5 Dale |
Did you miss something in your post? You don't list voltages for any of the first group of sensors except for the fuel thermosensor.

With the 1600 rail, you also had to replace the FPR. Did you verify your original 0 psi boost FP and then set it the same with the new FPR?
Is your new FPR connected correctly. You had to hosed something in the conversion, maybe mis-hosed, HAHAHAHA! |

It doesn't matter - the fuel thermosensor will NOT keep your car from starting.
You may also have a bad ground to the intake manifold - powdercoating doesn't conduct electricity. Dale |
if you added a new secondary rail your PFC will read 4.98 as the fuel temp, because you don't have a temp sensor anymore. like dale mentioned its not gonna keep your car from starting.
