That's possible. But you need to have Bluetooth on your computer. Nevertheless, only a simple setting is possible because the communication speed is slow and maybe mapping is not possible.

Thanks..

This is awesome. I was doing research on head unit display solutions like this recently, and I was so disappointed with what was available. I was even considering buying an old HKS CAMP system.

Thanks for developing this and sharing it with community.

This is awesome! I may have just found a use for my Android (ASUS) tablet that has been lying around my office! Awesome job ds2qwd, and everyone giving inputs for development.

It is better to use a smartphone than an Android head unit. EMF APP may not work properly in some Android head units.
Test EMF APP Download Link.

I have an Android Tablet. Already added the app to it, however, I have my car torn apart to do all these upgrades to it, so by the time I get the BT Module, hopefully I'll have it mostly back together!

Thank you and I just sent you payment!

Cheers,

I have a friend with a S10 android phone, when trying to change fan settings or alarm setpoint the software just crash. On my phone it works great. Would you have any idea of why?

Exactly the same here since many months, I'm on android 9 on a Oneplus 5t. (And I tested it on another android phone, the same)

Hi.. :)
I don't have many kinds of smartphones.
Development is based on Samsung smartphones.
If the problem is solved in S10, please test it on Oneplus 5t. ..
Thank you.

Hello.
Tested on Galaxy s10.
There was no problem in the alarm setting.
But the fan setting sometimes caused problems. ( I will fix it soon )
If you send me a video of the problem, it can be very helpful to check.

Thanks..

Just wanted to say I'm running this on my Note 10+ and love it. Tempted to buy a cheap android phone and run this, and just toss the commander in the glove box.

Thanks.. I will check.. :)

Please delete the EMF APP completely and try installing again.
(If you install without deleting the existing EMF APP, problems may occur.)

Based on the photo below.
The blue box and the green box are separate.

To change ECU Seeting, you must first click the Read All button.
If so, the Read All button changes to a Write button.
After changing the desired value, press Write again to change it.

I'm trying. :)
I am delaying the improvement because I do not have a smartphone that is experiencing problems.
Thanks :)

Ok, good to know. So this is about the right panel 'ecu settings'.
My problem is also for the left panel 'warning setting', there is only one 'save' button. And whenever I click on it, the app crashes, that's why I can't modify any warning setting, so because my knock sensor is always above 40 , the app is always warning with this annoying buzzer 😅

Okay.
I will check more... You can turn off the buzzer.
Try the latest version. :)
