Bridgeport on PFC

I have not seen this topic discussed... I would like to see this being a sticky at the top of this section.

What are your thoughts of a Bridgeport with a PowerFC? I have heard from a few people that there may not be enough cells to tune for this. What are your thoughts and opinions?

Both the "20 vacuum/pressure rows" and the "20 rpm columns" can be rescaled to any value range you wish.

Most engines never use P1 or P2, P3 - P7 are used for cruising. As soon as you touch the throttle it jumps above P10. You can easily re-assign these 4 rows. You can also make some low boost rows be used for a height of 4 psi and the higher ones only 2 psi.

Similar changes can be made for rpms columns.

Nothing difficult about any of this if you study how it works and use a little thought behind it.

Good info,

Has anyone done this before?

Yes, I have seen it on owners running 3 bar map sensors and over 17psi boost.

Works just fine. Check my website under Technical/EFI system related for a base map for a couple different derivatives. The IGL/IGT stuff is fairly dramatically different over stock/street port stuff.
