I was doing a search on an ECU that will work with an automatic transmission and found one post where someone stated that the PFS purple will work. They said that you do not loose any of the functions from the auto transmission ecu such as the hold feature when using the PFS purple. I did other seaches on this but found nothing.

Is this ture, can you use the PFS purple with an auto with no problems?

 

I've been told the same by my mechanic. Good luck getting a reply on it though. Most people seem to not like the system or at least the company that makes it. I'm considering getting one though for my auto.

 

It does work real good with the autos. But we do not offer new units for them and can only reprogram the pink versions.

Ryan when you say you do not offer new units do you mean you don't sell the PMC anymore or you don't sell the automatic compatible PMC? Also by pink do you mean the purple? I know there is a gold one and thought the only other one was the purple box.

Would any PFS PMC (purple) work with an automatic?
