I have bought several things from him and his company and he is a very manageable guy, very honest as well. He wasn't biased when i asked him about certain websites that offered the same products he did. I ended up getting his products because his customer service was astounding. I would email him and within the next 5-10 minutes i would receive a response from him, if not, the next morning. He will work with you on anything and has found many parts that i could not find myself. I am doing the same swap as well (1JZ non vvti in my RX7 FD) and it sure is easier when someone else has gone through the headaches and pains. Thanks a lot for all the help man, I couldn't have done this build without you. Would definitely work with you again.:icon_tup:

Fucking bad ass! who did your dash?

Polak Graphics 02-11-11 11:37 AM

Very nice interior pieces, I always wondered if it was possible to put something in place of the useless lights where you have that turbo timer/boost controller.

Toyotarx7 02-11-11 12:48 PM

I did everything, Interior, motor, ect. I did the mold for the dash pieces and painted them :-)

Slevin_FD 02-11-11 01:50 PM

Are you going to be offering the center console.

i was thinking about it. its time consuming as long customers understand that and are patient i will. i really dont have the slightest idea as to what to charge for that either. PM me if anyone is interested

Slevin_FD 02-11-11 10:01 PM

My only issue with a 2JZ swap into an FD is the hood clearance. If it wasn't for that I would probably do this myself. I'd rather use an RE-A style hood or some other vented hood. I'm just not feeling the raised cowl.

Toyotarx7 02-12-11 11:01 AM

well im almost done making my prototype that allows stock hood clearance. with that said you can use any hood you'd like from a scoot hood to the feed hood. ESP since the motor clears the stock hood. I'm almost done making my first one and will begin making kits that come with: the power plant frame, cross member, torque brace, shifter extension, motor mounts and drive shaft. I also have plans on becoming a vendor here on the forums as well.

njs619 02-12-11 08:57 PM

let me know when the kit becomes available, I want one for sure. I still need to buy my FD tho lol. Good work.

MaxFD 02-13-11 06:30 PM

How's the ground clearance compared to a 13b ?

Toyotarx7 02-14-11 12:10 PM

I'll post pics of the frame with the motor in so people can see ground clearance

njs619 02-14-11 10:57 PM

toyotarx7, or use still doing wiring harnesses for this swap? Thanks.
