Wow sounds like an awesome swap!! What snails (turbos) do you plan on running?

I think the idea of having an RB26 in an RX7 is not a great idea. I thought about it for a while but heard stories of the SP RX7 being to heavy over the front wheels. They said it did not have the cornering capabilities or the acceleration that they had hoped for.
Of course, this was with a Supra motor. The Skyline motor is very close in size so I dont know if this will be the case with the RB.
Either way, good luck and hope all goes well.

Sounds good......but why even build the motor....those things are just as strong as the 2jz motor....i know of guys making 700+ hp on stock internals. Unless the motor is no good and it needs it. But hey its your dime....good luck with it.

i suggest building the motor if going above 600 rwhp. the only reason i say that is this website... http://members.shaw.ca/kfgroup/240sx_-_2jz.htm they had a 800-1000 goal for the rb26 and i think they said it wasn't reliable...when the 2jz could do it without a problem. "At 788rwhp in low boost for daily driving and 968rwhp in high boost for your weekend thrills, and up to 1050rwhp for those nights when everything is just right." gotta love the 2jz ;-)

You are gonna go by one site that has no proof that they ever put an RB in a 240.:rolleyes:

haha...well you do have a point. but it's always good to do as much research as you can on anything.

But then I saw it's a skyline motor :(
At first I thought it was R26B 4-rotor :p:
