NissanSkyline in-line six into 1st gen RX-7

I talked to a lot of people before I did my swap, and no one had heard of a straight six into an FB. Everyone said we would be butchering the firewall to make it fit. I bought a front clip for a 1992 Skyline with an RB-20 motor, and it fit perfectly without touching the firewall, about 1.5 inch trim of the front core support. We used the Skyline radiator, fan and shroud, upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses, left engine mount and stock oil pan. We modified the right front crossmember, engine mount and fabbed a trans mount. The Skyline shifter was a bit short so we made a "short shifter" and lengthened the lever to fit the Mazda shift boot. The only tight spot was the turbocharger/steering box - we moved the crank centerline to the right about 3/4 inch to get clearance. Custom aluminum driveshaft, Walbro fuel pump. Added 100 pounds to the car overall weight, moved the battery to the rear for balance. Installation photos and details are here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/646433 "Owner's other rides"

This motor is absolutely as smooth as the rotary, very quiet and the 2 liter has PLENTY of power for any sane person to drive on the street. I am getting about 28 miles/gallon overall. For some reason my turbo goes to about 10-10.5 pounds boost.
Shortly after we started driving it, this article appeared:
1982 Mazda RX-7 GSL - Lucky 7 - Back In The Day - Super Street Magazine

Never heard of a JZ motor into one of these cars, but I am sure it can be done if you have the fabrication skills.
