RX-2 and 616 Gauge Cluster Wiring Explained
5 Attachment(s)
I can't believe this has never been posted. (Maybe it has and I just can't use the search function ) But I have a '71 616 with a no frills cluster (speedo and fuel/temp gauges). I switched it over to an RX-2 cluster to get the tach and ammeter. So I thought I'd share the layout of the plug, since you can't just plug and play the cluster, you have to rearrange the pin layout on the plug.

The 616 cluster has a solid Green wire and a Green w/Black stripe wire also coming from the back of what looks like a relay (under he speedo). Does anyone know what these are for? I can add that info later on. |
