Anyone interested in information on my RE_W_PU project? I can provide insight and technical support when needed. If not, there is just too much info to post so i wont waste the time and effort.

-REW, PS1000
-EFR
-New frame, coilovers, 4 link
-Wilwood front and rear

i am interested always love to see detailed builds. I had to use info from the 1st gen and 2nd gen forums to do a t2 swap in my repu..

I say just sell me the repu and forget about the project! haha

seems like there is a surge in REPU builds lately.....good to see.

I agree. I would love to purchase yours if you ever decide to sell it.

Yep thats me. The 3rd was Jacob Cartmil old red one. He parted it out and bought a white one.

With the watts link. Not with this setup. Im building it for 2 different things.

No really... Ever since I got it in my head that I wanted a REPU I said I wanted to build a Pro-Touring truck and here you are on track to do just that! :nod: Seriously your build will be a blue print! :D :icon_tup:

What made you decide to do a panhard bar vs. a watts link? Packaging due to current coilover location? Drag Car?

I have a watts link as well. No, not specifically drag. More of a "do whatever I want" truck.

Semi-confused. Doesn't a watts link have two frame attachment points and is actuated on a cam on the center of the axle housing? Not sure i've ever seen a watts link and a panhard bar before.

Yes you are correct about the watts link. I will run one or the other depending on the specific situation that i am in. There is also a sway bar for the panhard bar.

Question: those shocks/springs, are they usable on a first gen?

If you are asking if they will "bolt on" to any year first gen, then no.

No not bolt on, manufacterer /type/...

Hopefully the last time i have to install the motor for a while.
