Pulling out the RX2

By buddy and I have been working on this RX2 since late 04. It was an old road race car and when we got it, it was racing beat colored white with a blue and red strip down the top of the car. We decide to take her down to bear metal to see exactly what we were dealing with.

As we started working on her we found that who every put the flares on had mudded the car from the flares to the top of the car. It seriously had a inch of bondo on it. It took forever to get off. We then proceded to bondo it right and slowly began the long process of feathering out the flares. We still have alot of feathering at this point but we went ahead and sprayed it with some primer to take care of the surface rust that was starting to form from taking it to metal.

As we started working on her we found that who every put the flares on had So in the middle of all this work I find out that I'm getting shipped out to Iraq and the rx2 goes into storage and is worked on some by my best friend. He finished feather out one side but stopped there. So i've been getting the inch so I think I'm going to drag her home and finish her up.

Could you have removed the flares? The front looks "different". Other than that I'm sure she's going to come out great!
