After I complete my rx626, I will start on one of my three's and it will bare a single 13b rotor engine hence the 6.5b, the t is because it will be turbo powered and the spp stands for semiperipheral port. Once that one is complete I will start with my second three which as it shows will be a 4 rotor engine peripheral ported. Thats why I named them Dr. Jekyll, Mr Hyde respectively, externally they will be same color, internally extremely different drive trains. How long it will take to build, I don't know, but i'll give it my all!!!! Their build will also be posted here on rx7 club!!!

Oh i got u now sir.single rotor turbo vs 4 rotor n.a,those r gonna two project cars i will definetly keep a good look out for in the future.good luck on ur future builds.:icon_tup:

Luis I think he is refering to the 26B don`t you think it should say 20B unless you invented a new rotary engine:scratch:

No, i meant 26b which is a four rotor engine. 20b is a three rotor engine.

Help!!!!! I bought inner and outer tie rod ends and they all came with regular right hand threads and of course that does not work because two of them should have been left hand threads, the question is which two? Once I realized that the parts looked like the originals I threw them out not knowing the threads were not correct. So if some out there can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

1973rx3 10-27-11 08:17 PM

We'll I reordered outer tie rod ends and they arrived today, what do you know they are left hand thread! Now some paint and hopefully more pics/progress!

Question: Did you use an RX-3 subframe to mount the engine? If not what then?

Subframe is all 626, used an rx4 lower crossmember which fit almost like a glove with some modifications under the sway bar (like the rx3), allthough I modified it a little more for a custom upper crossmember. That is the next thing getting installed, but I wasn't happy with the finish so it is getting repainted. Hope that answers your question.

1973rx3 02-04-12 10:42 PM

After I kid you not minimum 15 times painting my crossmember, i gave in and got it powdercoated. Hopefully some progress soon. My GLC is sort off distracting me at the time as well.

My transmission was finished today for 626 by Fiebre and his son Eddie(demented jr) Pictures will be up soon! Thanks guys! And it is looking sweet!

Project not dead got side tracked with a 79 GLC. Soon i'll post in new thread the GLC pics. The rx626 which is currently being repurposed as storage table will be soon back as a project once again.

cfamilyfix 03-02-13 08:52 PM

Great to hear you are still at this Luis. Can't wait to see progress on the 626 as well as the completed GLC!
