yup. 85 front suspension and brakes on REspeed camber kit, ignition, FB clutch slave/master, SE tranny and 4.44 @ 81 GSL 3rd member. With the front suspension, I was running FB coil overs but its too stiff, so for now, Im runnign FB front springs but soon to be RB springs since its the same height as the stockers. |
Yo wackyracer. I sent you a few pm's concerning getting Jerry's email address. Please hit me back when you get a chance.

Have we decided on a offset number for the turn in spacers yet? What does the majority want to see?

Count me out on the sway bar spacer (I wanted it just in case but I found my old set). Im still interested in the turn-in spacer which I hope will make my current set-up (FB front strut) much better.

seems like no one really wants to make a decision for a camber offset. does anyone have any ideas as to what would be a good one to use?

WEll since Billy is the one making these maybe he can do the R&D part before selling them. So that way it doesnt end up a big papper weight do you guys think??? |
Well, Billy doesn't actually HAVE an RX-2 or RX-3. If anyone want's to make a trip to Atlanta, I'll gladly help take your car apart for a weekend :)
|
Then I volunteer your RX-2 for testing/fabrication purposes.
|
Perhaps we can use mine, since I am installing the first gen spindles? I'm 3 hours from Billy's

A few things to consider before we plan trips and weekends :)
If we are looking to add camber with the setup then we need to know: What models are we doing this for? 2's and 3's? Is the factory camber the same for both? Is the king pin angle the same for both? Will the final camber number be based on with or without camber plates? Will the final camber number be based on with or without rx7 struts? If the final camber number is based on a rx3 with camber plates and rx7 struts then It may not work with an rx2 without plates. Or it may be way to much camber for the guys sticking with stock struts and king pin angles. I guess my question from before did not explain what I really wanted to know. Who all thinks they want them and what will your setup be? -billy |
I'm not looking for turn-in spacers. Unfortunately, I'm also a no-go for a test mule as Koni has my only struts and the front and rear are in pieces. I'm still happy to help down out in Lawrenceville, though.

I also will use camber plates. |
