Alternator Clearance Issue

I am putting a NA 13B into a Bugeye Sprite. I have a challenge with the alternator clearing the hood, was hoping someone might know of a smaller diameter unit I could use.
Thanks,
Ed

Not sure what kind of clearance you have in the engine bay but maybe a side mount bracket can work .

I have modified the bracket already, I am about 1/2 inch off. Since the car has almost no electronics, I am thinking of trying a Suzuki swift alternator (about 50 amps, but pretty small diameter)
Not sure what a side bracket looks like, any pics?

That is a cool looking set up, unfortunately I have no room on the sides.

If you look up Chevy mini race alternator you can find no name ones for about $80 .

Do you have room to mount it on the dif? Only charges when you are rolling, but with little electrical may work.
