Looks Great! I have all the window rubber and door seals. Ordered them through Mazda a few years ago.

What I am looking for currently would be a decent set of headlight bezels and some tail light trim rings.

good move on the drag link. i am amazed at what a 35 year old truck feels like at 80mph hour on the highway with all new supsension bushings. simply amazing. you will love the ride. mine if lowered and it is still comfortable. good move on the drag link.

back grill was my original intent but since there was so much chrome on my truck i had to bite the bullet and get the grille chomed too! was not in the original budget, but then again.........neither were alot of things

headlight bezels and tail light trims are a huge pain in the *** to find. they are very fragile and reall easy to break the tabs when tightening them. ask me how i know

good luck with your search and keep us posted.......love the truck so far

Interior updates along the way. Pedal box was powder coated and rebuilt. Dash parts were dyed grey. Dash pad was repaired and wrapped with new leather.

Picture of the dash installed after leather wrap and the forward metal portion powder coated.

Needed new door handle rubber grommets and they are NLA. So, drew up the parts in CAD and had a bunch of them water jet cut from a sheet of rubber.

Along the same lines, I cast my own polyurethane cab bushings from a wooden mold.

Brilliant work on the rubber & polyurethane solutions.

I thought about going leather wrap for my crash pad but a friend nudged me toward restoring to stock piece. Are you happy with the tightness of the leather wrap?

Beautiful powder coat btw.
Awesome build.

Looks amazing!

I had a 74 repu that I started to gather parts for and was going to restore but I threw in the towel after two years. Mine was fairly rusty and I had a hell if a time finding parts as you well know. I still have a good bit if parts boxed up if your interested send me an email some time.

Not sure on the wheels yet. Had them for years and needed to set the truck on the ground for a bit.

i had a similar wheel on my truck when i finished it. rode around for a cou0ple of months and they never grew on me. bit the bullet and installed some old school BBS's and it really changed the look of the truck..... but then again its your truck and you should do what ever you think makes it look the best!

keep us posted on your progress. GREAT WORK so far

Hey looks good.
What did you use for foam to fill the slots in the dash? Iv thought about doing the same thing. Will it say level and not show?
I have a RX4 dash that's in need of the same thing.

I filled the cracks with "great stuff" from home depot. It fills nicely and protrudes up when expanding. I then sanded it flush. There is thin foam under the leather so none of the imperfections show.

Thanks.

Just dropped a bunch more off at powder coating.

Calipers have been sand blasted and are ready for paint. Carpet is 90% in, just need some spray adhesive to complete.

Did the first brake line to see if I liked it. Turned out well so I will try to finish that up this weekend.

I find them all over the internet. eBay, Craigslist and forums. Just have to be ready to buy when something pops up.

Tail light chrome I found used.
