The way I built my own
http://reganrotaryracing.tripod.com/

Trackable, Streetable, and Reliable
Has never failed me due to component failure (well once due to a P.O.S. PFS purple computer that went kaputz at the track) both on the street or on the track.
Oh and it goes like stink
There is little if anything faster...and I have run with Ferraris (360 Modenas are fun to play with on the track) Porsche GT3s (two of these recently at the track) vettes etc etc.
I have been driving it to and from work all week and enjoying every G'damn minute of my usually miserable Washington DC commute.
Regards,
Crispy

Lets see;

Engine: Mild Street port, 2mm Ianetti ceramic apex seals, polished rotors, Pineapple intake port flow balancer, ceramic coated, enlarged throttle bodies, upgraded oil injector system, extra dowel pins, ported coolant orifices.

Turbo/Exhaust: GT35R-T4, ceramic ball bearing, ceramic coat everything, oil/water cooled, inline oil filter for turbo (Increase longevity), and a full Ti HKS exhaust, with a high flow cat for yearly emissions test. Retrofit an electric air pump from a corvette or a Buick.

Cooling: Rotary Extreme or custom V-mount Intercooler/Rad. setup, Twin oil coolers, external electric water pump and Spal fan setup (helps cooling even after the car is shutdown), Aluminum AST tank, water injection, proper heat shielding, Evans waterless coolant, and ideimatsu (spelling?) 50 weight oil.

Electrical/Fuel: Programmable ECU, ignition amplifier, engine grounding kit, 850/1600 fuel injector upgrade, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, upgrade fuel pump, swirl tank, fuel cooler, boost controller, wideband lambda sensor, and relocated battery to passenger side storage bin.

Brakes: Stoptech/Brembo/AP big brake kit up front (slotted), RZ rear brake setup (slotted), and steel braided lines, brake balancer, and Hawk HP+ brake pads.

Suspension: Mazdaspeed bushing kit (40% harder than stock), RE toe and trailing arm links, Tein Flex or better coilovers, Front Strut bar, wide foot/MS front sway bar mounts, and suspension tech sway bar upgrade.

Driveline: Exedy twin plate clutch/flywheel setup, B&M short shifter, MS powerplant frame, Aluminum drive shaft, hardened half shafts, MS/Quaife LSD, engine torque dampener, MS engine mounts, and MS differential mount, Mazda B2600 fifth gear (higher gear ratio so fifth is actually useful at the track).

Body: MS B-Spec body kit (all CF if possible), Flare the fenders an inch to accept wider wheels, CF rear hatch, CF MS hood, and all painted titanium grey except for CF accents of the wing, air splitter, and hood vents.

Wheels: Mesh-Bronze-forged alum. - 17X10s with Yoki A032Rs

Chassis: 8 point cage and seam welded chassis

Interior: None adjustable CF/Kevlar Recaro seats and D type steering wheel, four point belts, CF panel dash, black suede everything else, wide foot throttle pedal, integrated into the dash SPA gauges(boost, egt, oil pressure/temp, intake temp, water temp, fuel temp, etc.), police scanner, hidden Valentine Radar detector, and GPS.

I know there's more but that's all I can think of right now.

Ahhh don't tell me that Dan! I have had a hard enough time getting myself to this point, I don't need to go backwards! lol

Feed street diffuser. Go to Rotary Extremes website: http://www.rotaryextreme.com/fdindex.html

Those are my plans with a budget in mind. You don't even want to know what I would really like to do if money wasn't an issue. Oh well, I can dream at least.

Slowly, but surely my Rex will get to that point.
