Any recommendations on competant rotary repair shops on the Eastside, near Seattle? Need basic motor rebuild and clutch.

I'm in Lake Stevens. English is exceptional with piston motor tuning, but very limited rotary experience. BDC is Brian D. Cain and he is a tuner out of Fort Worth, TX. We fly him out every so often to tune a few cars. He'd be a great person to PM if you have questions. BTW, I know a little bit about your car thanks to my friends Brad and Angela.

They were on Mukilteo Speedway, but I think Fozzy shut it down after a while.... When I was working out there in Mukikteo the shop looked abandoned

Yeah, if Brad ever mentioned his buddy, Tim, with the red FD, that'd be me. I also helped Angela tear out the carpet and cover her door panels in the Miata...

Just search for BDC in the members and you can PM him. You could even get the session going again if you want.

Has anyone heard of these shops doing automatic ---> manual transmission conversion on FD's? Better yet, anyone actually had a swap done by a professional?

Only have experience with their fabrication and welding. They do top notch work in those areas.
