Arriving Soon!

Well, the date has been picked. I am headed to the Tigard region at the end of May with a buddy and my woman. Looking forward to meeting some fellow rotary/auto enthusiasts. I will definitely be checking out the meets that Derekcat had mentioned in a different thread. For identification purposes, here are some pics:

Feel free to flag me down!

Also, if anyone has a stock exhaust system laying around collecting dust, I will pick it up off them when I get there so I can pass emissions

Your car looks like an S4 which means you are emissions exempt! No need to pass once the car is 25 years old.

I believe since Tigard is in the Portland Metro area, I still do have to pass emissions unfortunately.

Hey djSL! Sadly, you are correct about emissions testing.. WA (statewide?) has 25 year rolling, the Portland Metro has 1975 and newer must pass "forever" (unless it's a "collector car" and you have a registered daily driver)

RPNW just our monthly meeting tonight (Well, Wednesday if you want to be technical), and we're planning a lot of stuff for this next year
Events and a copy of the monthly notes are usually posted on our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/RotaryPowerNW/ (I still have to post tonight's notes)

Wow that sucks, also in Washington if your vehicle is 25 years or older you are exempt from the modified exhaust law. Which is nice.

Yeah. I am debating just moving to Vancouver. Rent is cheaper, and emissions testing is easier. My transfer will allow me to move to wherever I want in the region that is available.

Vancouver is the way to go, cops are nice (unless state) and traffic is never really a problem (unlike almost anywhere in portland). If you got any vancouver questions hit me up

I appreciate the responses! I think we are going to have to end up in Portland for my girlfriends job. On the plus side, I will need to get a second vehicle eventually so I will register the RX7 as a SP after.
