13b Firing order

86' FC3S RX7 -
Just want to make sure; the rotor closest to the radiator is L1/lower plug and
T1/ upper plug correct? and the rotor behind it L2/ lower plug and T2/ upper plug?

-Haynes manual has a 1/2 boxes for firing order (unspecific to engine orientation)

Actually FC leading ignition is wasted spark, so they are both firing at the same time, all the time. :)

(L1+L2) T1, (L1+L2) T2, (L1+L2) T1, (L1+L2) T2, ....

Technically, you could have the leading wires backwards and it would not matter. It always made me twitch knowing that my leading was always sending a rogue spark right before or as the apex seal went over it. :P

Re:

Yah... so they were hooked up completely backwards assuming that the rear rotor(closest to fire wall) is "1" (L1/L2) instead of being "2" (L1/L2).

It ran and drove, but at 60mph it flat lined, and hesitated alot after 55mph especially in 4th and 5th gear. Thanks for your help.
