  • Price
    $1 - $45,000
  • Location Minneapolis, MN, 55417, USA
  • Condition Used
Description:

I'm looking for a clean(ish), stock(ish) FD with the following criteria (willing to travel anywhere for the right car):

Color in order of preference (CYM not listed because I can't afford it):
1. Montego Blue
2. Chaste White
3. Any other JDM blue if RHD
4. Black
5. SSM
6. VR

Mechanical:
5 speed 13B REW. Stock or street ports.
Decent to good compression. No "needs rebuild immediately" cars.
No insane high HP builds. I'd prefer a sequential car but am open to good single turbo cars.
A/C present
I'm mileage agnostic.
I'd prefer to avoid cars that "run great, just needs a tune."

Body:
No rust. Slicktop preferred but would consider the right sunroof car.
No over fenders, no cuts, no wild body kits, no wavy fenders from a roll.
Must have popup lights.

Interior:
Complete. That's all that matters. I don't want a litany of broken or missing parts but dirty interiors or those that need reconditioning are fine.

You won't find a better car out there for the money than what @Aarkaah has listed right now. I saw this car in person and was blown away at how good it was.
Start with a GOOD stock car and build from there.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s your number one color and it’s as nice of an FD you’re going to find I bet.

Thanks all! @Aarkaah I'll respond to your message! I saw your car immediately when I started my search but it's at the tippy top of my price range and I don't want to commit until I explore the market a little bit more.

I'm planning to sell mine. VR 93 R1, single turbo build with meth built by IRP. But it's definitely not as clean as @Aarkaah car. That's a rare gem.

Fair enough. But please remember that clean cars are almost impossible to get nowadays. If you end up with one that needs work it will eventually cost the same. I’m flexible pricewise so don’t be afraid to approach. Worst thing I can do is say “no”. But we all want to get to “yes” in the end …so take a chance.you never know.

I hear you. I just want to see what's out there before jumping on the first thing even if it's probably the perfect example. I can give you a call this weekend to chat. I might be able to make something work in the near future. I'm switching jobs next week and have to travel for my first week so I can't make a move immediately but I can travel for the right car starting in mid-April. I'm curious what your next toy will be.

By the way your inbox is full!

Thanks for the inbox heads up. Fixed it. Good luck on sorting though the cars but remember that at 30+ years old finding a clean car with your exact criteria is like hitting the lottery. Bird in hand scenario …

car may go pending today. Will update you.
