1987 RX 7 TII (Montgomery Alabama area)

Clean title & currently registered in Alabama
I have owned this car since 1997. Garage kept since 1999.
Engine rebuilt 147k miles by Ernst at RX 7 world; less than 10k on the clutch
Driven regularly to Interstate speeds (70).
Cruise, wipers, windows, lights, etc all operational.

Reason for selling
I have retired and I am not using the car (I drive it regularly just to keep it up)
Getting old--tough on the back getting in and out
Moved to a house on a dirt road--no fun driving out on it

Known Issues
Exterior
Repaint 2000
Hood & sunroof repaint 2009 (vandalism at mechanic's shop)--has not held up as well as the repaint; has some orange peel & bubbling on hood; small bubbling on sunroof panel. You have to be up close to see it (see photos)
Radio antenna INOP

Interior
Passenger side strut tower plastic cracked
Bolster fabric on driver's seat is a slight mismatch (looks good & most folks don't notice it)
Stereo not original & not so hot (works but quality is fair)
Sunroof can be sticky, need to keep tracks clean
Clock is intermittent, the rest of the light cluster works

Engine
Can have hot start issues on really hot days; have a fuel pump switch that you can use to overcome this (shut off, crank, turn on when the motor starts--works well)
AC has a slow Freon leak

Incidents
1. driver door hinge was busted when I purchased it; fixed
2. accident in 2001, front clip replaced
3. vandalism 2009--kids jumped on the hood (snow on it) while at the mechanics shop; still some signs on the hood & the repaint has not held up great
