Description:
Here I have my old FMIC setup from my 440whp S4. It's a GReddy-style unit but not authentic. There are some mild blemishes and one small dent in the lower metal support. This metal support is SOLID, not a passage, and does not affect performance. Piping fits FC pretty decent, and will mate up to OEM and aftermarket throttle elbows on the cold side, and fits most hybrid turbos (I ran a T04S hybrid) on the hot side. All of the intercooler piping INSIDE the engine bay was wrapped with DEI gold heat shield wrap a LONG time ago and is not perfect but definitely noticed a difference in IATs after doing it.
There is a TiaL Q blowoff valve pictured in the photos - ***IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE!!** However, the flange is present on the hot side of the intercooler piping. Included in this sale are the intercooler core, all of the piping on hot side and cold side, all clamps, and all couplers.
The reason why I am getting rid of this setup is because while it was highly effective and responsive even with stock bumper, a considerable amount of cutting behind headlights, battery relocation, and modification of the front bumper and OEM ducting etc are required to make this setup fit in a car. The new chassis I acquired is near perfect, and I'm building a FMIC solution that requires no cutting, so this setup is for sale, minus the valve. If there are any questions, please shoot me a pm! Happy to take more photos as well. I'm willing to partial-trade for a CSF #6051 intercooler, or otherwise good-condition Isuzu NPR intercooler as well. Happy boosting!
