Mazda RX-7 1992 - 2002
Description:

Offering up another set of RZ Recaro Seats with original Tilt/Slide Rails. The price is based on what I’ve seen similar sets make on YJA and on the last set that I sold. In terms of condition, they’re not as good as the last set but still very presentable as is. So the RHS seat has had a bolster fabric repair using the original material - that said the material is new and the seat is old so there is an ever so slight colour mismatch. Also some slight fabric fade around the belt guide. Most sets for sale in Japan have holes, severe fading or much worse. Some light scratches to the kevlar weave on the back as well but no cracks or structural damage. LHS seat is slightly faded compared to the right in particular around the belt guide and bolster area nearest the window. Again some light scratchiness to the kevlar weave but structurally good. Comes with two brand new seat belt guides. I have photos of the mounts and there are no cracks around the mounts or indeed anywhere else. The photos should give a good representation of the condition but if anyone wants more, I will be happy to oblige.

Price wise, the last set I sold was 7800 USD inc shipping. This time I am going to quote my price in my local currency (GBP as they’re being shipped from the UK) as I did have an awful headache trying to work out the conversion for the last paypal invoice. Hence my price is GBP 6500 inc pallet shipping to the USA. At the current rate that is approximately 7420 USD although what rate PayPal will give I don’t know. This price includes PayPal payment fees. Bear in mind that a fair chunk of that price is express TNT airmail shipping and that the package will be insured for its full value (something to bear in mind for customs purposes). Price to Europe would be a little cheaper (for example, price including shipping to say Norway is GBP 6100, Italy is GBP 5950) as I can send them by road pallet rather than air. I might be open to the idea of lowering the customs/insurance value but it would be at YOUR risk, not mine and if this is the case, I will insist on a payment method that doesn’t offer any buyer protection.

Feedback on recent sales for those who might want it including my last set of RZ Recaros that I shipped to the USA. The last photo is of how I packaged that set of seats to ensure safe transport.

One of those purchases I made just before the market got insane. I thought they were pricey back then… wow have they shot up in price!
Gotta say though, fantastic seats! They fit me like a glove. If you’re sensitive to any sort of weight change, you can definitely tell the car feels livelier now. Those stock leather seats weighed a ton!
Ive been looking at some of the postings in yja, and yeah, these seats are going for roughly this much. Much more if they turn up really mint (which is getting harder and harder to find nowadays..)
Good luck with the sale!

back when i was a 34 waist and 180 these were right on the edge of snug for me. a friend of mine who is 6 something seats comfortably in his spirit r seats. although he may be ~200lbs. extrapolate lol

they may be a little snug for you

where the bottom and back meet is 13" wide and then it tapers out to 18" at the end of the seat bottom which is 18" long. the seat back cushion measures 11.5" wide. shoulder area measures 22.5" from outer wing to outer wing. seat back measures 32" tall from where it meets the bottom to the very top. all measured with cushions in place.
