Description:
Up for sale is my near new Liberty built FD transmission. 3rd and 4th gears are face plated, the rest of the gears are still OEM synchro. Every gear/hub/slider/synchro has been refurbished. new OEM seals. Cryo treated, thermal stabilization and shot peen. JDM 5th gear. Billet mainshaft of course. Has approximately 800 miles of use. No issues whatsoever currently. I did initially have an issue with second gear which I sent the trans back to liberty under warranty to correct with a new hub/slider. Transmission is still under Liberty's warranty (contact paul at liberty for details). Took nearly 6 months to receive this transmission from time of ordering.

That is correct in a sense. You still clutch to shift however the shift is nearly instantaneous. If you double clutch, there isnt any kick/noise and the shift is seamless. It does give a mild kick with a metallic sound when you shift "normally". It takes a bit of adapting however once you get used to it its certainly something you drive every day with added noise.
